In your role as technician, you work in close collaboration with end customers and other industries. Your everyday work will include scheduled and supportive maintenance, clarifying and towing aircrafts. Technical Support also has the task to support our own 147/V7 school where we conduct type courses for eg JAS39. The work requires a great ability of independence and responsibility.
Your closest manager is located in Linköping, but your everyday work carries out under your own responsibility, with the support of regulations, routines and other colleagues.
As we support customers with operations both in and outside Sweden, business trips outside the place of employment will occur during periods. The places of employments that we are now recruiting for are Linköping and Såtenäs.
Your profile
We are looking for you, young as old that previously worked with military aircrafts and now want to be part of our support team working with JAS39 Gripen, one of the most advanced fighters in the world.
Required skills:
• Basic Training or Basic Examination B1:1
Desired skills
• Work experience from aviation market.
• RML B1:1 certificate for typ 39A/B, 39C/D, SK60 or Tp84.
• EASA B1:1 or B1:3.
You have an easy time working together with others, are service minded, flexible and enjoy working in groups. You are fluent in English both in speech and in writing.

Support and Services, is a business area within SAAB, delivering a wide range services and integrated support solutions for defence as well as commercial market for cost-effective support on system and platforms during their whole lifecycle.
Aviation Training is a department within business unit Aviation Services. Our business incuse multiple turnkey solutions for our customer and their airplanes, mostly in Sweden but also outside the country. Technical Support, that you can be a part of, is a section within Aviation Training, which mainly has operations in Linköping and Såtenäs. Our commitment are now growing and we are in need of additional resources.
