About Synapse
Synapse provides cost effective world class revenue generating products for 3GSM operators.
All products are based on Unimind(tm) Cluster software and available on best of breed commercial off-the-shelf hardware and operating system platforms to enable the lowest possible cost of ownership. The core competencies in strategic planning, usability, 3GSM, IP, security, high performance computing, data mining and support will help the costumers to get the most out of the 3GSM network.
Job Description
You will work with advanced support and troubleshooting of system based on UNIX/Solaris and GSM.
The role is advanced support in second and third line. Synapse works mainly with operators around the world. The Synapse team works with troubleshooting, configuration, bug reporting, patching and review of log files. The most advanced errors are reported to the programmers at Synapse meaning that you will have a close working relation with the development department.

Requirements
We are looking for candidates with a technical university degree, perferly within IT, telecom or communication. You can be newly graduated but it is very meritorious with working experience.
You should have good knowledge of Linux/Unix (Solaris) systems and you have a large interest in telecom. It is a big plus with knowledge within different IP-technologies and communication. Due to the international contacts in this position, it is required that you are fluent in English.
Personal requirements
You are a person with a big interest of the telecom industry and systems. You have good communication skills and you like to work in a flexible workspace.
Further details
The position is full time and over original office working hours. Start date is as soon as possible. You will be employed by Hero and work as a consultant for Synapse in the beginning with very good opportunities to be recruited by Synapse.
