We are looking for a Support Engineer, Intelligent Networks (IN) and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) to Nokia Siemans Networks.

Nokia Siemens Networks, Business Group Customer & Market Operations, Care Nordic, is looking for an ambitious colleague for the Service Platforms team. The team supports Prepaid, Charging, GSM-R and IMS solutions that are built on standard IT platforms running applications and services for the fixed and mobile telecommunication networks.


Dina arbetsuppgifter
The main task will be to provide local and regional technical support for upgrades, installations, configuration and acceptance testing of the products and solutions delivered. You will be involved as a key person in consulting the customer in technical questions for system configuration and maintenance issues including troubleshooting of challenging technical problems.
In this position you will interface with our global support function, Project Managers, solution sales teams and our development teams.
You will have a large amount of freedom to operate within your own areas of expertise. The work requires that you plan and execute technical tasks requiring specialist skills in your professional area. You have to work independently with the responsibility for solving customer request cases and reporting according to processes. You are a member of a technical community that shares knowledge in each member’s respective professional area.
You have:
* basic 2G and 3G network architecture knowledge
* basic Unix knowledge
* basic Oracle Database knowledge
* basic knowledge of TCP/IP, routers and switches.
