Westermo is currently recruiting a support engineer to join our Customer Service team in Stora Sundby. As a support engineer at Westermo you will be working with advanced technology within data communication and networks. The team is characterized by openness, good team spirit and high competence. You will be working with 2nd line product- and application support for our customers around the world, helping them solve the more advanced problems. In our lab we re-create the customer applications and in some cases help them on site. Technically the applications involve switches and routers. Cyber security is an important and fast growing area in our applications. Other relevant areas are ADSL/VSDL, SHDSL, 3G/4G and WiFi.

As a person you are service oriented with analytical abilities. You are driven and posses professional communication skills. You need to be structured and organized with the ability to drive your own progress, with a desire to succeed. The ability to cooperate both internally and externally is a key to the position. You will be an important contributor to the support team and will get the opportunity to develop yourself in a positive and creative environment.
Personal experience
We want you as a candidate to tick some of the boxes below:
• Education in data communication and/or networks.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English both in speaking and in writing.
• A merit for applicants are Cisco certifications CCNA/CCNP or similar.
