hela Sverige As Support Chemist you will have a mixed roll where you on one hand support our Manufacturing Unit (MU) with technical expertise (initially with focus on fillers) and on the other support the Marketing and Sales Unit (MSU) in a variety of tasks, such as approval of products, propose adjustments of recipes, technical evaluation of complaints, evaluation of product properties in the laboratory and participation in development projects for the MSU.
• Support production from R&D side with daily issues/correction of batches, longer term process improvements and introduction of new formulations
• Maintain close contacts with Product Develop Centers (recipe owners) to best align recipes and production requirements
• Experiments: set up, plan and execute experiments and analyze, interpret and report results
• Innovation: Identify product/process optimization opportunities & technical solutions for own area/domain and share these with other professionals
• Knowledge development: Keep up with internal and external developments in own field of expertise; ensure transfer and retention of knowledge
• Internal contacts with other departments within the Nordic MU and MSU as well as within the global DECO organization
Are you a focused, analytical and hands-on chemist? Are you excited about production as well as supporting Marketing and Sales?
To be successful in this position you should hold a relevant degree from a post-secondary education within chemistry with relevant work experience, or a technical college graduate with several years of relevant experience from our industry.
As a person you are a focused, analytical and hands-on person with good planning and organizational skills. You are communicative and able to meet people cross functionally within the organization. You are flexible and able to cope with long-term tasks as well as ad-hoc tasks at the same time. You have a great interest for production and its processes. You have excellent knowledge in the Swedish (or any other of the Nordic languages) and English language, written as well as spoken.

This is a permanent position on a full time basis, reporting to the LTS R&D Manager. The position is placed at our site in Sege, Malmö.
