Scania as a whole is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from being a traditional truck manufacturer into becoming a provider of complete transportation solutions. A central step in this journey is Scania's implementation of a common global sales tool (Sales Portal) supporting the sales of vehicles as well as various integrated services.
We are currently facing the end of European market implementation of Sales Portal phase 1 for our finance companies and Scania Financial Services would like to strengthen the head office team with a Support and Maintenance Manager. You will be highly involved in the coming stages of market roll out in other regions and steer and coordinate the maintenance and development of further functionality from a financial services perspective. In your role as Support and Maintenance Manager you will work closely with our Business IT Analyst and have many interfaces towards various parts of the Scania organisation, our business units, as well as towards the external supplier.
Job description
As a Financial Services Support and Maintenance Manager you will be our interface towards the central Sales support and development organisation responsible for the total development and implementation of Scania's Sales Portal. You will ensure the maintenance of the finance and insurance products available within the Sales portal and drive the change and problem solving activities within the Scania Financial Services organisation.
Your tasks consist of:
Ensure a well working support and maintenance organisation for the finance companies around the world.
Ensure and coordinate central and local maintenance and development activities for Scania Financial Services and communicate and report status to various stakeholders.
Provide support and training of the sales tool to the finance companies and central stake holders.
In the longer run you may also be managing the support and maintenance of other applications within the Scania Financial Services system portfolio.
Your profile
We believe you have an university degree within IT and/or Finance and have the following competences and experiences:
Engagement and ability to lead yourself and others with a doer mentality.
Commitment and drive to deliver, simplify and improve.
Ability to create good customer and supplier relationships.
Comfortable with leading and running workshops and meetings.
Previous experience from leadership roles, project management or maintenance management is an advantage. As a person you have a proactive approach, are structured and like working in a team, but it is also important that you can take own initiatives and work independently.
To be successful in this role you also need to have good communication skills and feel
comfortable working closely with several parties within the business.
