Description
Perido is looking for a a support technician to our client, a leading international insurance organization serving customers all over the world. This specific position is placed at their office in the heart of Stockholm.
The IT support tasks are segregated between the central international support teams and the local End User Technologies support. As a part of the latter, you will work within two general areas: end-user support and technical assistance. The end-user support tasks consist of preparing and setting up workstations, managing laptops, testing and installing software, resolving user incidents and so on.
As technical assistant, you will perform the troubleshooting of problems related to local tech equipment, provide support to the international team should any network device require troubleshooting, perform the physical patching of the LAN connections, provide cross-border support in case additional end-user support is needed in other Nordic countries, and much more. Requirements
• At least two years of experience with IT-support
• Experience of supporting Windows computers and software: Office, Windows 7, Silverlight
• Experience with Active Directory and Citrix
• Fluent in Swedish and English
Also valuable:
• Experience with support in an international environment
Contract type and hours
Full time. Start date August/September. Permanent employment.
