Job description
Global Supply Chain department of Sobi is responsible for finished goods manufacturing and purchasing and distribution of commercial pharmaceuticals.
Manufacturing is performed externally by contracted manufacturing organizations (CMO's) and purchasing of Sobi Partner Products is performed worldwide. The product portfolio is distributed through the Global Distribution Network, also managed by the Supply Chain department. As Product Supply Planning Manager, you will be responsible to ensure the steady supply of Sobi's products to the market.
Main areas of responsibility:
• Manage the forecasting to maintain availability levels at the central warehouse and the subsidiary warehouses to ensure that the financial interests and regulatory requirements of the business are being met by maintaining stock at the optimal level of service in all hubs.
• Creating shop-orders and distribution orders and ensuring that the ERP (enterprise resource planning) system is reconciled in a timely manner.
• Proactively report and manage product availability issues and supply bottlenecks
• Executing IPR (inventory planning and replenishment)
• Monitoring of sales
• Refill parameter reviews
• Execution of established phase ins and phase outs
• Coordination with responsible Marketing & Sales people in each respective market
Qualifications
University degree or equivalent based on experience in Supply chain management including inventory management/inventory control, sales and operations planning.
To be suitable for the role you are experienced in supply chain management and have in-depth knowledge of forecasting processes, stock control/management concepts, supply & demand planning processes and life-cycle management preferably from the pharmaceutical industry. You have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, experience working with ERP systems and skilled with Microsoft Office including Excel in particular.
To be successful in this role you are structured, analytical and flexible. You enjoy working in a role that combines both operational management with strategic overview. Furthermore you have a high level of responsibility and ability to communicate in a business environment and collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external partners.
