Description

Supplier Management manages the Supply Base for Tetra Pak's outsourced production of Capital Equipment. As Supply Manager within Module & Drawn Component Purchasing you are part of a team that is responsible to develop business relations with our suppliers to achieve and align with Tetra Pak's strategic targets for all manufactured and assembled parts and modules.

In your role you will be responsible for the commercial relationship of specific suppliers to achieve superior performance in terms of quality, delivery and cost performance. Some of the most important parts of the job are the internal company alignment around supplier development strategy; process improvements within the team and the negotiations with suppliers. You get motivated by working towards set targets where you can influence the activities and results as well as sharing best practices with team members.

Main responsibilities

• Team leader of 3 Supply Managers
• Developing and managing the business relationships with our global supply base
• Responsible for cost, quality, delivery and service performance
• Responsible for shaping and implementing the supply base category strategies
• Drive sourcing and contracting activites including writing and negotiating agreements

Qualifications

As a Supply Manager you have strong personal drive to meet the objectives within the area of responsibility. Strong communication and social skills help you build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers. You have a high level of commercial, legal and negotiating skills. You find it easy to coordinate resources to be able to find the best solution for the challenges identified. You also have a structured holistic view and an analytical mindset.

You have a Technical or Economical University degree. Preferred profile for the position is five to seven years of experience from a similar position. You should have experience from having own responsibility for a number of suppliers, including strategic and operational responsibility. You should also have the experience of leading a team. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
