Husqvarna Group is a world-leading manufacturer of forest, park and gardening products. The range includes chainsaws, trimmers, robotic lawnmowers and garden tractors. The Group is also a leader in Europe in garden irrigation and a world leader in cutting equipment and diamond tools for the construction and stone industry.
The Group's products and solutions are mainly sold under the Brands Husqvarna, Gardena, McCulloch, Poulan Pro, Weed Eater, Flymo, Zenoah and Diamant Boart through specialist and retail retailers to consumers and professional users in more than 100 countries.

We are now hiring a Supply Chain Project Manager for Husqvarna Group. As part of an experienced team of project managers reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Development, you will lead and collaborate on international projects that are focused on the continuous improvement of Husqvarna's supply chain.
If you enjoy working alongside people with diverse backgrounds, and are looking for an opportunity to work in a global supply chain environment, you may be the right person. The role is ideally located in Huskvarna but we would consider a more flexible working option for the right candidate.

Your role at Husqvarna Group
This role is one of four project manager positions in the Supply Chain Development team, which is part of Husqvarna Group's Logistics Operational Excellence team. In this role you will own global projects aimed at driving substantial improvement in global operations and in Husqvarna's supply chain. You will work with team members from different departments to achieve the project goals.

Your projects will vary depending on the specific business requirement, but typical examples involve; optimizing warehouse processes including end-to-end lead time and inventory optimization for global material flows, improving customer satisfaction through development of KPI's, customer lead times and OTIF improvements, warehousing footprint analysis, warehouse tenders and new warehouse setup, warehouse automation, product traceability, B2C returns processes and logistics e-commerce solutions.

Importantly, you will be required to analyze supply chain data as the basis for devising innovative warehouse and supply chain solutions. Since the Supply Chain Development team solves problems for other areas of the Husqvarna business, the project manager role also works with assessing problematic situations to identify and address the root causes. This entails gathering and processing relevant information so as to propose solutions, make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.

Who you are
We are looking for an experienced logistics and supply chain Project Manager. Your background is preferably in warehousing and transport and you have good knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes and systems. Your personal characteristics include strong analytical skills that enable you to analyze data to spot trends, identify opportunities and turn these into clear actions plans to drive supply chain progress.

As a Project Manager you are methodical, clear and always keep your eye on scheduling and costs. You are nonetheless able to balance the rigor of a project with the need for flexibility and speed.
As an individual you are inquisitive, determined and have strong interpersonal skills. You have an influential style and the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams, which is critical to succeed in this role.

Ideally you have: Either a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a relevant field (Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or other).
Several years of project management experience within the supply chain area, including proven skills in managing and delivering complex projects.
Solid knowledge of warehousing and transport in a multi-channel environment.
Excellent data analysis and cost analysis skills, including familiarity with analytical tools and reporting software (such as Power BI, Tableau and Qlik Sense).
Strong communication skills (speaking and writing), and an ability to articulate complex technical information.
Fluent, professional English (speaking and writing).
Previous experience in a global manufacturing business in cross-functional teams is a strong merit.
