For AstraZeneca we are now searching for a Supply Chain Program Manager for a consultant assignment for one year with start in May and possibility for extension.

Publiceringsdatum2015-03-24Dina arbetsuppgifterThe Supply Chain Program Manager role is a key leadership role within R&D Supply Chain, Pharmaceutical Development. As a Supply Chain Program Manager you will:
• manage one or more supply chains for late stage projects
• manage a portfolio of early stage projects
• lead cross-functional Supply Chain Teams
• represent the R&D Supply Chain function
• work in collaboration with customer functions to influence and manage demand
• be responsible for all R&D Supply Chain project deliverables to the business
• project leadership, but not management of staff
• lead a Supply Chain Team to generate options for how the supply requirements of a development project can be met
• sourcing
• timing of investments and costs
• identification and management of risks
• represent the Supply Chain Function on the Pharmaceutical Development project team
• contribute to and influence the development strategy for the project
• influence and manage demand for drug substance, drug product and patient packs including requirements for placebo, comparators and rescue medication
• monitor the performance of the supply chain
• optimise for higher volume phases of the project
• balancing speed, quality and cost with respect to the agreed level of risk
• manage the budget for supply activities and materials for the project
• ensure ongoing supply through transition from development sources
• manage change in demand and supply, resolve issues, escalating when appropriate
• ensure timely delivery of information to meet internal and external regulatory and legal requirements
Utbildning/erfarenhet
You have a Degree in supply chain related or drug development discipline or equivalent qualification or more than five years experience. You have extensive experience working in supply chains and significant experience managing and influencing customer demands. Furthermore you haveiIn depth knowledge of R&D supply chain and drug development process and experience of project management. You have demonstrated technical skills and mindset in supply chain management including demand management, supply chain design/optimisation and delivery and a track record of good project management. Additionally you are experienced in Risk identification and management, negotiation and problem-solving across functional, geographical and cultural boundaries. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Swedish is not a requirement.
