Hays Life Science is looking for a Supply Chain Planning Senior Analyst for a fantastic opportunity at AstraZeneca. This global, science-led biopharmaceutical company is known for its innovative work and commitment to improving the health of millions. We are seeking an External Operations Coordinator for the External Supply & Manufacturing division based in the vibrant city of Södertälje, Sweden.
Your new role
As a Supply Chain Planning Senior Analyst, you will become an integral part of the External Supply & Manufacturing team, with a focus on business processes, data management, and performance tracking. Key responsibilities include supporting various projects, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining internal systems in line with AZ's policies. Additionally, you will act as a change request support, owner, and facilitator for relevant actions and changes.
This role is for a 9-month assignment with the potential for extension.
What you'll need to succeed
Successful candidates will need:
* A 3-4-year Bachelor's degree in engineering, pharmacy, chemistry, related science, or business field.
* Strong collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team towards a common goal.
* Experience in stakeholder management and the ability to achieve jointly agreed objectives.
* Analytical thinking skills and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously against tight deadlines.
* Strong data management and reporting capability, with sound knowledge and experience using IT systems.
* Understanding of quality principles and GMP requirements, with solid organisational skills.
* Experience using Lean tools to solve problems.
