Job Description
The Supply Chain Planning Manager is leading the PLAN department within the company's Surgical Vision in the site of Uppsala including Supply Network Planning, Production Planning, Raw Material planning/buying and Distribution coordination for outbound shipments, import and export.
The Supply Chain Manager is a member of the Uppsala Leadership Team.
Job description for Supply Chain Planning team and associated planning activities such as:
* Lead and manage the Uppsala PLAN department.
* Lead OVD End-to-End supply network planning within the company.
* Facilitate local and global Supply sales & operations planning processes for Uppsala site, provide direction to demand, supply, capacity, NPI (new product introduction) and inventory.
* Manage short term escalation management process for the Uppsala site, identify issues for escalation within reliability process.
* Identify and manage continuous improvement opportunities for planning & scheduling business processes, End-to-End supply chain optimization, inventory optimization and site/network cost reduction.
* Manage End-to-End planning of new product launches and product transfers to/from other manufacturing sites
* Maintain relationships, and benchmark with sister sites to continually look for planning improvement opportunities
* Lead effort and provide directions on achieving continuous product availability End-to-End while optimizing supply chain inventory levels.
* Establish and manage yearly goals and metrics for PLAN department
* Lead efforts with End-to-End supply chain to ensure 99% to-market delivery performance
* Lead setting inventory target and optimizing inventory levels at site and at distribution centers, while minimizing inventory cost such as excess and obsolete.
* Lead effort in achieving site-wide planning/manufacturing goals for adherence to supply plans, production schedules, and manufacturing turn-around time.
* Lead process to monitor and prioritize materials and lots throughout the supply chain, coordinating efforts to prioritize production and supply chain activities
* Manage raw material, WIP and finished goods inventory
* Create and manage cost center budget
* Adhere to local and global standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
* Minimum Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Industrial
* Engineering University degree with technical, scientific, pharmaceutical/medical device background, or equivalent.
* Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken).
* At least 3 years' experience in Supply Chain management, related to production activities.
