About the role
In the role as Supply Chain Planner you will be responsible for inventory management for our distribution Centers (DC) in Europe. This includes to define supply-chain parameters, based on overall targets for service level and inventory turn-over. You will report to Director Supply Chain Management and be responsible to coordinate phase-in/out of products at our European DCs. The Supply Chain Planner will replenish finished products from internal factories and external suppliers to our European DC 's as well as coordinate quality issues at our European DCs.
To be successful in this role it is important to have a commercial & business awareness since you will handle daily operational management and support for the supply chain inbound to our European DCs. The position also includes KPI-reporting and to participate in different Supply Chain Projects. The position is fixed term for about 1 year and is located in Umeå.
Your profile
A University degree (BSc or MSc) in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is required. You have 1-5 years of experience from supply chain management and planning in an international environment. The position requires experience from working with forecasting and MRP tools, preferably MOVEX. You have strong analytical skills and excellent MS Office skills, especially excel.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated with a high level of initiative and drive, and an ability to act independently. Since you in this role will collaborate with different stake holders both internal and external, it is important that you have strong communication skills. As Ålö operates globally you must be able to communicate fluent in English both in speech and in writing. To succeed in this role, it is important to be a team player with a LEAN mindset - you see opportunities rather than problems.
