As Supply Chain Manger you will be reporting to the Operations Manager and you will be working within all aspects of logistics such as:
• Procurement, ensure goods are expediently received and distributed to provide uninterrupted supply both externally and internally, without exposing to excess stocks.
• Inventory management meaning constantly monitoring stock, to identify potential problems well before they become major issues.
• Working pro-actively with the execution of strategies to reduce excess/aged stock levels.
• Quality, measure and report on the performance of the logistic department.
• Ensure that all customer requirements are met regarding on time deliveries and in order quantities.
• Process & working practices, constantly re-assess our supply chain and methods of working, exploring and suggesting new and innovative ways of working, developing efficiency gains / cost reductions.
• Freight, ensure goods are shipped at the lowest possible cost and in the most expedient, commercially viable fashion.
• Manage, coach and develop a logistic team of workers. Coordinate the supply chain trough Business Unit Sealing Profiles.
PROFILE
• Masters degree in logistics and professional experience from an industrial environment for at least 5 years.
• Skilled in MS Axapta and MS Office.
• You speak and write English fluently.
To be succesfull in the roll as Supply Chain Manager we also believe it is important that you are customer oriented and have the ability to work logically and systematically, with good time management. You are a troubleshooter and have the ability to think laterally whilst offering creative solutions. You have good interpersonal-skills, meaning the ability to work with people at different levels as well as being a good team member. You are a good communicator and have a positive attitude towards continuous learning.
