Responsibilities
We have an immediate opening for a Supply Chain Manager within Pulp and Performance Chemicals Europe. This is a permanent position on a full time basis located in Bohus, Sweden, reporting to Director Technology and Operations, Silica and Paper Chemicals.
The main responsibilities include
• Leads and directs Supply Chain Operations for PPC Europe (excluding Expancel).
• Responsible for negotiation of transport and logistics service for about MEUR 55 per year
• Responsible for customer order handling of about MEUR 430 per year
• Fulfil our targets with respect to cost and efficiency for the Supply Chain processes
• Develop and monitor Supply Chain Management KPI?s in order to continuously improve performance
• Managing transport purchase, planning and customer service departments in Bohus.
• Managing customer service departments in Central and South Europe.
Requirements
We are looking for a strong manager with excellent leadership skills, preferably holding managerial experience in customer service, logistics or supply chain. You have an ability to lead, engage and coach others, and are a collaborative cross-functional team player. In order to communicate across the global business, you are fluent in English, both orally and in writing. Your educational background ought to be a M.Sc. degree or equivalent in engineering, science or business.
To be successful in this position you need to be skilled at organizing, prioritizing workflow, and coordinating the work of others. You have the ability to drive change and have strong commercial understanding. You have excellent communication skills. You are seen as a role model in consistency and integrity and continually strive to improve performance.
