WHAT IS AXIS?

We are now looking for a Supply Chain Manager focusing mainly on Asia but also managing global special projects. This person will be a part of the Global Supply Chain Team based in Lund, Sweden, and report to the Supply Chain Director.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As Supply Chain Manager you will be the interface between the global supply chain organization and the sales teams in Asia. Further you will act as the supply chain project manager for global special projects in all regions. You will have no direct reporting staff but be able to utilize the global team.
In this role, you need to:
• Understand the market needs and standards in regards of supply chain in the different markets in Asia to maximize Axis’s growth
• Travel to meet and understand all Axis sales teams in Asia.
• Analyze, prioritize and define specific needs for the Asia regions in the Supply Chain process.
• In cooperation with the global team, plan and implement supply chain improvements that will be needed for Axis’s growth in the region.
• Develop and implement key performance indicators and metrics to track the regional supply chain quality and development.
• From a Supply Chain perspective manage global prioritized special projects including customization.
The position will be based in Lund but with extensive traveling.
The role involves traveling, 80-100 days/year.
You will report to the Supply Chain Director.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a driven and organized leader with previous experience from Supply Chain and Asia as a region.
We believe you have:
• communicative skills and enjoy interacting and collaborating with different people and cultures.
• previous supply chain experience as a manager or process development function or similar.
• extensive experience from traveling and understanding of different cultures in Asia.
• at least 5 years’ experience working in a global environment.
• a university degree in engineering or business.
• experience from an international manufacturing company and preferably electronics.
Apart from the above you are open minded and are strongly driven. You are fluent in English and preferably in Swedish.
SUPPLY CHAIN
The Supply chain organization in Axis has the responsibility of all material handling and product flow. Purchasing of material, receiving and handling customer order, configure, ship and deliver products worldwide according to customer order. All parts of the organization are based in Lund but we have several partners around the world to manage this. We also interface a lot with our subsidiaries in more than 40 countries as well as our customers.
