We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Manager to head up operations covering Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Iceland. This role forms part of the Northern Europe supply chain leadership team reporting into our Northern Europe Supply Chain Director. The role holder currently has three direct reports and 13 indirect reports within the Nordic supply chain team, all of which are currently based out of our head office located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The Supply Chain Manager will lead and inspire teams within demand & supply planning, supply chain customer service & logistics operations to ensure execution of related operational processes to deliver the relevant KPIs of supply chain NOE and more directly the Nordic business unit. As part of the supply chain NOE leadership team the role holder will form relationships with their supply chain functional peers both in NOE and in some cases globally/regionally, receiving/sharing best practice and knowledge, exploring synergies, and leveraging experience. The role will participate in NOE SC leaderships meetings and workshops. The role holder will play a pivotal role alongside the Nordic management team, with dotted line reporting into the Country Manager for the Nordics, to help shape, influence and execute Nordic specific business and cultural priorities.
Your Tasks
Successfully lead, inspire, and develop direct reports and wider supply chain team.
Continuously improving overall team engagement and motivation through actively coaching on the job to ensure success and unlock the potential of others.
Ensure execution of operational processes regarding planning (such as S&OP, demand and supply planning, value added services and master data management), customer service (such as order management and handling of pricing claims) and logistics (such as warehousing, in and outbound transport and reverse Logistics).
Deliver the KPI targets of Nordics for your areas of responsibility, for example, service level, days inventory held, forecast accuracy, direct cost of selling, general expenses of supply chain, scrapping & write downs and TPSC savings as well as PIs such as forecast bias, share of good stock, master data accuracy, inventory accuracy, orders processed on time.
Explore, identify, and implement process improvements across all areas of responsibility, taking & sharing best practice by forging collaborative relationships with stakeholders across region and NOE management unit.
Actively drive collaboration with other Nordic functions to actively promote supply chain, seeking feedback and celebrating the success of the team.
Focus on collaboration with customers on supply chain topics to improve OTIF service levels, generating efficiencies and savings.
Active role in the Nordics management team to drive engagement and potentially lead projects in Nordics.


Your Profile
The ideal candidate has a deep passion for supply chain in general, with demonstrated experience of team engagement and complex problem solving. We are looking for a team member who has strong, well rounded, supply chain knowledge related to S&OP, customer service or logistics related functions, with previous experience in a corporate environment, ideally FMCG. We require someone who is well experienced in leading others, who has a 'can do' attitude with a high degree of motivation for embedding change and driving results. The role will be of interest to someone who has an analytical mind, with an eye for accuracy, who can prioritize effectively.
