Is your next step a coordinating role in a young and creative team? The Supply Chain Engineer position offers the opportunity to work with continuous improvements of our filling machines (TT/3 and TR27/28) in close cooperation with our external suppliers and our internal development, production and test organizations.
Our team, Carton Bottle and Gable Top, part of the Supply Chain Capital Equipment organization, is responsible for all Carton Bottle and Carton Gable Top capital equipment supply, as well as providing the group with key sealing equipment and creasing tools. Our organization manages the production of filling machines, providing world class equipment quality and performance. We must ensure that our products not only comply with our design specifications but that they are of the highest quality possible when we deliver to our customers.
The position will be located in Lund, Sweden and will require some travel within Sweden.
The main tasks in the positions are:
• Participate in New Product Introductions (NPIs) and Product Life Cycle (PLC) to secure production input to our development organization through Partnership for Design, and to transfer back product knowledge internally and externally to prepare for production.
• Participate in pillars and drive WCM teams/improvement projects according to the methodology.
• Lead the production manuals updating process to secure that assembling manuals (internally and at suppliers' sites) are always updated according to Engineering Changing Modifications or corrective actions.
• Secure that test equipment is maintained and updated as expected.
• Develop and optimize assembly and final test methods.
Publiceringsdatum2011-03-30KvalifikationerThe position requires good knowledge within mechanical and/or automation engineering. We believe you have a technical education and experience from an assembly environment. Previous experience from a supply chain or production/test engineering position is a plus. Your English skills are excellent, written as well as spoken.
Your communication skills are strong; you have the ability to interact and cooperate with people at different levels, internally as well as externally. You have an innovative and structured mind and often find new solutions and improvements. Of course, you also enjoy team work.
