hela Sverige ValueOne is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Developer for a six month assignment with the possibility for extension to a manufacturing company in Tierp, north of Uppsala. The assignment must be filled as soon as possible.
The role
As a Supply Chain Developer you will be a member of the global, category managed, sourcing team responsible for the inbound supply flow to the company plants and the Central warehouse. Your responsibility covers both specific immediate supply issues as well as continuous supply improvement projects and includes collaboration with external suppliers as well as logistics departments. The role also involves analyzing of suppliers and to take proactive actions to constantly optimize the inbound supply flow according to defined strategy.
You report to the Global Category Manager in the Strategic Global Sourcing department.
Main tasks:
Drive Back on track activities within supply.
Proactively detect and avoid potential supply deviations with clear ownership and planning.
Drive and monitor supplier improvement projects.
Find solutions and improve deliveries in specific delivery issues.
Improve supplier performance, capacity, demand and new requirements in close cooperation with local logistics and call off department.
Experience and competencies
The person we are looking for should have a university or college degree from a technical field, or corresponding working experience, and a few years of experience within Logistics, Call off or Supply development, preferably from technology companies. The assignment also demands a solid logistical knowledge specialized for international company relationships and transactions. To thrive in the position a solid technical interest combined with a commercial mindset and a positive attitude is essential. Good knowledge of LEAN and quality processes is an advantage and knowledge of various Manufacturing Processes and SAP is an asset. The role requires fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Furthermore, you are a natural communicator and networker who easily creates trust and long-term relationships. You have a strong inner drive and the ability to act and take ownership of your tasks.
