Then you should take the chance to join our Strategy & Innovation department at Vehicle Propulsion as Supply Chain Coordinator.
You will belong to the team BEV test object, which is responsible for delivering electric motors to Volvo Cars prototype series. To make this happen we collect the needs, build, and deliver electric motors to our internal customers at right time with the right quality.

The team is located both in Skövde and Gothenburg, the main location for this role is in Skövde where our engine pilot plant is located.
What You'll Do
You will secure the delivery of all ingoing parts for the engines in the R&D projects. You coordinate delivery plans together with suppliers and feedback on potential deviations to the test object team. You also arrange the best suitable transportation in terms of cost and time.
You handle questions regarding customs clearance and invoicing from suppliers worldwide. You are the speaking partner/single point of contact between supplier and Task Leader within our team when deviations occur regarding agreed delivery times and volumes.
Competence is Important
We see that you have a university degree in Logistics or other related studies, in addition, you need a couple of years of experience in supply chain. You have gained a good understanding of logistics and the European transport market as well as the intercontinental market.
You have strong knowledge and experience in MS Excel and understand operational planning and resource allocation. You are fluent in English both written and spoken, Swedish and/or Chinese will be beneficial.
If you have experience from a forwarder or in-house logistics team this is an advantage, equally experience from another OEM or tier 1 supplier is of interest.

To thrive in this role, we think you are a quick learner with excellent interpersonal skills, who love to build a broad and strong network. You are used to working independently and never hesitate to drive your own initiatives. You are both analytical and creative when solving problems, to think outside the box, identifying and implementing improvements comes naturally for you.
