As Supply chain analyst you will be part of our Control Tower team in Malmö.
Control Tower in Malmö is a small team and therefore we're looking for a teamplayer that would like to be a part of an interesting development within our organization. Our work is dedicated to a small range of customers, but with high expectations to performance, quality and development.
The daily operation includes:
- Order management
- Global Invoicing
- Freight Mangement
- Pricing
- KPI control
- Customer services
We are looking for You who is ready for taking ownership and responsibility of tasks, including proactivity search for solutions when needed.
We expect you have strong communication skills, as this role is day to day communication with customers, vendors, and colleuages around the world.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The job can be broken down into two areas of responsibility: Client Relationship and Operational Excellence
Client Relationship
- Developing relationships with customer and serves as an escalation point as needed Manages third party service providers to ensure world class, seamless service delivery to the clients Where applicable, engage with clients when there are issues.
Operational Excellence
- Verify that all orders and shipments are accurate and timely Support the manager where operational expertise is required Educate and develop yourself and others regarding the setup Analyze and report on performance of the business unit to ensure that performance measures are met
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to make quick and clear decisions while adapting to changing circumstances
- Ability to be a part of diverse teams of people, while showing respect for views and contributions, building teamspirit, and reconciling conflicts
- Able to increase productivity through performance management
- Able to coordinate global setup
- Able to work independently, but within the boundaries prescribed by DSV policies and procedures
Computer Skills
Very good Excel skills, basic Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Education and/or Experience
- Must possess strong knowledge and understanding of the freight forwarding business
- College degree preferred, but a combination of education and workexperience can substitute
- 2 years of operational experience
- 2 years client relationship
- Been working with logistics / transport
Language Skills
Must have good knowledge in read, write, and speak English and Swedish. A third language like Manderin, Cantonese, Spanish, is also to be preferred.
Math Skills
In addition to basic math you must be able to analyze numerical data and understand components and relationships, find patterns, and draw conclusions. Able to develop and maintain data information.
