StudentWork is looking for our clients next Supply and Demand Leader. Our customer was established in July 2000 and has rapidly become a global industry leader in designing, manufacturing and deploying an innovative range of batteries and energy-saving battery cabinets. The reliable and cost effective solutions are used in more than 120 countries worldwide, primarily within the telecom industry, but also for uninterrupted power supplies and engine start applications. The company has grown steadily since its establishment, with an ambition to further increase the operational efficiency while growing the current turn. The ambition will be realized by improved sales and operational efforts at existing customers and by entering new and profitable customers and segments. Our client employs more than 700 people across the globe, with headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.
Work description
Our customer is looking for a highly motivated, self-driven, Supply and Demand Leader for its Supply Chain department to help reach the company?s aggressive, yet realistic, targets. The challenge includes strengthening the ability to optimize the balance between delivery flexibility and inventory efficiency.
As Supply and Demand Leader, you will be responsible for leading and coaching the team of buyers. You will handle the global demand planning process. The tasks also includes coordinating the international sales forecasts, analyzing historical demand trends, implementing demand planning into material supply models and develop new work models to achieve organizational efficiency. The work also includes operational tasks such as support to Product Management?s updating of product ratios.
You will report to the Supply Chain Leader.
Who are you?
• Strong knowledge and application of supply chain fundamentals
• Business or economical education on university level
• Minimum 2 years of similar experience in same or other relevant (e.g. automotive) industry
• Leadership skills
• Business minded ? understands and applies commercially sound principles
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications in English
• Motivated and a lot of drive with stamina
• Structured approach ? plans, organized and prioritizes tasks efficiently
