The role as Supplier Quality Specialist you will plan, organizes and conducts audits/assessments of supplier 's systems, processes and products.
In your role as Supplier Quality Specialist your main tasks will include:
• Documents and reports audit/assessment results.
• Inspects or verifies products for compliance with applicable requirements.
• Assesses capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work.
• Investigates and resolves concerns to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Provides education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives to develop and improve supplier performance and productivity.
• Reports status of supplier performance.
The assignment will begin in April 2021 and extends for at least 12 moths with a chance of extension.
About you
We are looking for a candidate that will have a background in quality/inspection, be able to understand and interpret 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings, production paperwork and manufacturing specifications. Have experience in the inspection of machined and fabricated parts and assemblies and knowledge of the installation of electrical/electronic line replaceable units (LRU), experience on wire looms.
Furthermore, we see that the successful candidate will also have experience in the review of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) to the AS9102 standard, be able to articulate non-compliance/conformities to the document owners and progress through to a compliant resolution. Computer skills will be required to input data into a number of different on and off-line systems and applications including Microsoft Office.
Important for the role:
• Understand and interpret 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings, production paperwork and manufacturing specifications
• First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) to the AS9102 standard
• Fluent in English
