The Cab & Electronics Supplier Quality organization within Scania Purchasing is responsible for proactive & reactive quality assurance of current supplier product & processes, as well as evaluation of potential supplier for upcoming business. Our products are often complex, either from a technology or manufacturing perspective, meaning that the range of materials & processes can spread over plastic, rubber, glass, electronics, wire harness, batteries & software to mention some examples. On top of that we work in the range from traditional automotive setup to transformation driven unique projects together with suppliers in the range from automotive giants to small innovative startups.
All this variation sets a high need for collaboration & networking and is part of the attractiveness this position will offer. It also have one thing in common - Our success is dependent on talents being able to find the best way forward by using case specific details in combination with the automotive and well defined Scania processes which forms the foundation of our work.
Besides preferred significant quality assurance experience we think a technical interest & competence together with positive & solution oriented personality is required to enjoy turning our challenges into opportunities and by that developing both our operations and yourself to the max. Since Supplier Quality belong to Scania Purchasing, a commercial interest can definitely open even more opportunities from this role.
Even if the position is based in Södertälje, Sweden, the arena is global meaning that language skills and travel willingness should be accordingly.
