hela Sverige Scania's Purchasing is responsible for the purchase of products and services to all of Scania units worldwide.
We need to strengthen our purchasing activities in East Asia and we are looking for persons who have experience from heavy truck industry and automotive supplier structure in China. The positions are located in Södertälje and you will be a part of the Quality team as Supplier Quality Manager.
Your work tasks
In the roll as Supplier Quality Manager you are responsible to evaluate existing and new suppliers ability to fulfil Scania requirements, Quality assure new and modified products and production processes before start of production, influence the technical development of parts to reach the optimal Quality, support the Scania organisation with knowledge about the technical development and trends of products and production processes on the market and control and report the supplier's Quality performance. You will follow well established processes and all work is done in close collaboration with other functions as well as within purchasing as within Scania.
Your profil
As Quality Assurance Manager you have high commercial and technical interest, You are a engineer in Master of Science with experience of Automotive purchasing and its processes. You are independent, social and has a well established network of contacts. You should be able to express yourself in speech and writing, both in English and Mandarin and have the cultural background and / or knowledge of Chinese culture. Language skills in Swedish is an advantage.
