You will be the one who leads the development of our supplier's forward towards Volvo Quality of Excellence Award.
You will have the possibility to be based in either Gothenburg, Gent or Prague.
What you'll do
As a team member of the supplier quality management team you will be responsible to evaluate external supplier's capability of quality and verify capacity. Furthermore you will drive quality assurance of processes at external suppliers in industrialization phase.
You will also:
* Drive concern resolutions towards external suppliers in running production in order to minimize disturbances to Volvos vehicle plants and receiving centre's
* Develop your dedicated supplier base, by continuous contact with suppliers using for example Lean tools.
* Follow up your suppliers on quality and capacity parameters.
On a personal level
* This position is for you who enjoy to build and maintain relationships. To take initiatives and work independently. You like using your communications skills to coach and drive the suppliers forward.
Do you fit the profile?
* Bachelor's degree within the power electronics area or equivalent experience
* Experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes
* Verified competence and capable to use quality tools & methods
* Drivers licens
* Ability to travel at least 2-3 days a week
