Responsibilities:
The SQE manages a portfolio of suppliers within the Commodity Sheet Metal Forming and Fabrication
Responsible for all Supplier Quality Assurance activities within portfolio
Perform supplier evaluation before Supplier selection
Develop and improve manufacturing process at supplier
Participate in product development projects and work with concurrent engineering activities with suppliers
Define and develop cost engineering initiatives in partnership with the supplier
Working in a commodity, you will be part of a cross functional team with representatives from Trollhättan, Kongsberg Norway and Newington USA
The working environment is international, with most of the current suppliers in USA

Formal qualifications:
3-5 years experience from SQE
Minimum bachelor degree in engineering or relevant experience
Demonstrated technical process experience in Sheet Metal Forming and Fabrication/welding
Demonstrated experience from product development projects
Very good English skills both oral and written
