We now seek a highly qualified SQE within the Electronics and Mechatronics area. This role will focus on knowledge of quality assurance of suppliers who also develop software and knowledge of manufacturing processes of, among others, PCBA.
You will be a part of the global SQA Commodity structure and a team consisting of 15 SQE, mainly seated in Huskvarna. You will also work cross-functionally with, above all, R&D, Project sourcing, Commodity managers and factory to be involved in developing future technologies and evaluate suppliers of components connected to this. Position includes travelling to supplier locations Globally. You report to Director SQA.
Main tasks
Responsible for establishing, maintaining and improving the supplier quality assurance and development system in the commodity.
Perform audits on new and existing suppliers with the purpose of evaluating the expected quality or sustainability performance of the supplier and provide relevant information into supplier selection decision forums and commodity management.
Guide the suppliers in the APQP and PPAP process and evaluate/approve the result of the suppliers APQP and PPAP work. Be involved in internal and external drawing reviews to synchronize the demands in order to reduce risk and avoid miss understanding, be involved supplier selection, tooling approved process, TOK and EP samples process.
Support in the suppliers' corrective action process and approve the result for Husqvarna related issues that has gone through the process, drive supplier achieves Husqvarna PPM target.
Develop strategic suppliers.
Manage internal customer relationships and coordinate with Commodity Management the selection, assessment and approval of supplier and parts.
Work with suppliers and their related departments to achieve all individual KPIs and give support if needed.
Your profile
To be relevant for the role you need to have minimum a bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or other relevant discipline. You have a senior job-profile with minimum 8 years of experience working as SQE in relevant areas as well as demonstrated experience in performing assessments of new and existing suppliers.
Your experience and understanding of working with supplier quality related topics and manufacturing engineering are good as well as your knowledge in quality engineering, audit processes and relevant certifications.
It is of importance that you have professional knowledge on mechatronic and/or electric related field. You need to understand and be familiar with manufacturing process on PCBA, Li-Io Batteries, LCD's, LED's, cable and Quality control as well as have experience in Electronics, SW, Digital solutions, and Embedded systems.
It is also important that you have knowledge and experience of working with quality systems methods and quality engineering practices (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, Root Cause Analysis, Lean manufacturing concepts, etc.).
We are looking for a quality minded person with strong planning and problem-solving skills. It is important that you are self-motivated, result driven / goal oriented and good at collaborating. You need to thrive in an innovative organization and have the willing to contribute with your own ideas. Fluent English both orally and in writing is required.
