hela Sverige Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
If you are a team player, enjoy a high pace, like to work within a broad network of professionals and are well structured - this might be the position for you.
Why supplier quality?
To be a leader in driving the shift towards sustainable transport solutions, not only Scania but the entire supply chain of Scania needs to eliminate waste, i.e. have the right quality levels. Also, buying a premium brand the Scania customers expect premium quality. A majority of the parts for our Trucks, Busses and Engines are sourced from suppliers and hence we need cooperation through the supply chain to assure good quality of these parts.
We (SQ) are responsible for quality assurance of the Scania supplier base.
What to do?
As responsible for quality assurance within your segment, your task is to evaluate the suppliers ability to produce parts according to Scanias requirements. You are also responsible for rating of suppliers, release production processes and work with supplier development, including supplier escalations.
At Supplier Quality Powertrain Components (SQEC), we work with various components to the powertrain such as filters, turbos, electrical engine, multi-piece camshafts and battery pack for e-mobility.
How to do?
As an SQA, you work with the well-established processes of Quality assurance, such as PPAP and other tools of IATF 16949. You work together with suppliers in e.g. setting quality strategies, and contribute in developing methods and processes within Purchasing. Being part of Purchasing you work closely with Purchasers as well as supplier representatives, and in cross functional cooperation you often work with colleagues within RnD and Production, both within Scania and in Traton.
Who we look for?
You have a positive mindset, high ambitions and a willingness to learn and improve.
You have a university degree. You have technical interest, a high level of integrity and interest in problem solving. You probably already have experience of quality assurance and manufacturing processes and enjoy working both independent and in teams. For the right person who takes responsibility for their own development, Scania offers many opportunities to grow and develop in your career both in Sweden and internationally.
Where we work?
Supplier Quality (SQ) is a part of Scania Purchasing with responsibility for quality assurance of new and modified parts, as well as for securing capable production processes at our suppliers during the life time of a part.
We are situated in Södertälje, however as the suppliers are spread throughout Sweden, Europe and globally you will also be expected to travel.
