The position involves broad responsibilities in the quality field to assure suppliers' product and process with the thinking of Zero-defect Attitude. The SQE supports global sourcing during supplier selection and product & process development using APQP philosophy while introducing new supplier/product. In the phase of Product & Process Approval, SQE is fully responsible for the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP, a part of APQP) to demonstrate that the component supplier has developed according to the client's requirements in terms of design and production process.The SQE works cross functionally with local sourcing, R&D, quality and production to solve supplier related quality nonconformities in 8D model.By conducting annual Process & Product audits, the SQEs assigned task is to monitor and keep supplier quality performance on a stable level. Last but not least, the SQE is a central function in global Supplier Development projects that requires proactive actions to find and solve subjects with focus on Quality, Cost and Delivery in accordance with our global sourcing strategy. The position includes around 40 travel days, which can be required on short notice
Education & Requirements
You have a master's or bachelor's degree in engineering. A minimum of five years work experience in the field of Quality Assurance with suppliers and work experience of quality system as TS16494, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Furthermore, you have experience in high-volume production of mechanical components. You have a very strong interest in developing and ensuring manufacturing processes and cooperation with suppliers. You have solid knowledge in the area of APQP, Lean, 5S, Six Sigma or other quality tools, knowledge of VDA 6.3 is an advantage. You possess excellent communication skills in written and spoken Swedish and English.
