We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer, (SQE), within the Supply Chain Management department for Supplier Quality Assurance.
The work mainly contains proactive work with our new and ongoing suppliers to secure high quality on incoming material. By using quality tools and performing process audits we can control our supplier's processes. This will be done along the whole product life cycle, from Pre-development and TTM to TTC.
Internally within the company you will have interfaces with Supply Change Management, Production, Quality and Technical departments. Externally, you will have interfaces with the company R&D centers, sourcing and of course your main focus, our Suppliers.
Traveling is a natural part of this position.
Qualification:
Technical Bachelor degree in mechanics or equivalent experience is needed.
We are looking for a person with a proactive attitude and who are used to work in complex environments.
To be successful in this position you should be quality minded and used to work with quality tools. The preferred candidate would have good communication skills, as the role involves communication and interaction with suppliers and users throughout the organization.
A supplier quality engineer should have:
Good knowledge to read and understand technical specifications (incl. Drawings).
Good computer skills (MS Office, SAP, CBS)
Good knowledge of the English language, both verbally and in writing.
Good communication and presentation skills
Independent, self-confident and well organized with analytical mind.
