Description
Would you like to enter a new role within DSO Capital Equipment, improving supplier quality to meet our customers' requirements?
In this role you will drive supplier continuous improvement activities, audits and assure quality level of our suppliers thru quality control procedures. Work on improving supplier accuracy and balancing supplier capabilities. You will also monitor quality of specifications to our suppliers, prepared by engineers.
This is a one year temporary position and will be based in Lund.
Main responsibilities
Assure quality level of the suppliers
• Improve delivery accuracy and balance capacity
• Execute quality control procedures
• Minimize systematic failures
• Implement statistical metrics
• Conduct and drive supplier audits and improvements
• Ensure quality of specifications as part of quotations
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you have an Engineering degree, preferably in mechanical, chemical or process engineering. You have at least 5 years experience on supplier quality development or quality assurance/quality control in manufacturing company or similar experience on process engineering / project management in food industry with a strong affinity for quality systems.
We believe you have strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills. You also have the ability to work with project/product engineering, supply management and logistic teams on a daily basis and able to influence supplier's top management. Preferably, you have previous experience from a large inter-national company, or maybe from a consultancy firm. You are an advanced user of MS Office package, familiar with AutoCad, SAP environment and normal quality control tools.
Your English skills are excellent, written as well as spoken.
