We are looking for a Supplyer Quality Engineer to strengthen our global procurement team. Your main focus in this postion will be to develop and improve our supplier capability and quality in products and delivery. As a Supplier Quality Engineer you have technical competence from relevant field whitin engineering and/or quality. The position is placed in Falun, Vika and you report to global procurement manager.
Your responsibilities:
Develop suppliers and their capabilities
Qualify suppliers
Set up, realize and perform annual audit plans
Introduce new systems, items or processes at suppliers
Provide a interface, expertice and assistance to our suppliers
Follow-up of KPIs in terms of quality and delivery
Be a part of the Commodity teams, that are crossfunctional between procurement, quality and design departments
Contribute to improve the performance and efficiency of procurement processes and resources.
Design To Cost (DTC) initiatives.
The successful candidate will have the following profile
Job and educational experiences;
Minimum of 3 years university degree within the area of the responsibility.
Minimum of 3 years working experience from relevant field whithin engineering and/or quality
Experience of supplier quality development
It's meriting if you've got education and good knowledge of IRIS, ISO and other quality systems
Travels will be a part of the position, likely 10-12 international trips/year.
Personal skills:
You will interact with colleagues, suppliers and customers all over the world and we assume you have an open attitude and ability to establish good relationship with colleagues.
Have a good technical understanding
Team orientated with good interpersonal and communicational skills
Well organized and deliver a structured result
Fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish
