Our team, Supplier Quality Assurance/Total Quality, part of the Supply Chain Capital Equipment Organization, is dedicated to Tetra Pak becoming the indisputable industry leader in quality, by leading systematic activities with suppliers, and driving a quality mindset through the supply chain of Capital Equipment.

In this role as Supplier Quality Engineer you will have strong focus on supplier quality assurance and be part of a team focusing on Issue Resolution. The position is based in Lund, Sweden, and travelling to suppliers' facilities might be needed.

Main responsibilities

• Drive corrective actions to eradicate supplier quality issues following the Issue Resolution Process
• Pro-actively identify gaps, propose solutions and opportunities for improvements to the Root cause eradication processes and methodologies
• Handle networking process with key stakeholders (i.e. Market Companies,
Supplier Management, Production, and DSO)
• Support manufacturing audits and components validation at the supplier

Qualifications

We believe that you have excellent networking and communication skills and the ability to manage the change in a challenging environment. When you are working with issue resolution you must have the ability to resolve the cases with the customer in mind and making sure that the suppliers implement the solutions in the shortest and best way possible.

To be successful in this position you need to be an informal leader who is able to influence and engage individuals, teams and organizations. You have an analytical and structured approach in combination with a strong drive for results. To work with individuals and teams on different organizational levels is highly motivating for you.

You probably have a university degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar together with at least 5 years of work experience which includes dealing with suppliers, supplier quality and project management. You have previous experience from working with World Class Manufacturing or other continuous improvement systems. Excellence in spoken and written English and MS Office is a must.
