We are now hiring a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to our Polarium HQ in Stockholm. In this role you will plan and execute all SQA related tasks in collaboration with Sourcing, R&D, product development and local and global QA professionals.
Polarium currently has 3 manufacturing sites, in Mexico, Vietnam and South Africa. The SQE will collaborate with and lend support to the local quality departments and drive escalated supplier quality issues in assistance to the local quality teams. In this role you will be responsible for both developing new and improving existing ways of working within supplier quality.
What you will be doing:
• Monitor supplier quality performance data and KPIs and initiate actions when trends or deviations from targets occur
• Supplier audits on existing and new suppliers
• Supplier risk assessments and drive development plans
• Keep systems updated with relevant supplier information
• Drive supplier evaluation process
• Be responsible for and owner of Quality Assurance Process for new materials/new suppliers
You Have Minimally:
• 5+ years' experience from Supplier Quality role from technical and manufacturing industry
• Solid audit experience with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 or similar
• Degree in Engineering or other relevant, education or comparable experience
• Knowledge in quality management system tools and continuous improvements
• International experience, preferably from Asia
