What we expect from you
As a Supplier Quality Engineer you will be part of our Supply organization and work in a team responsible for the overall quality work. This is a new role in the organization which means you will be responsible to drive the development and implementation of supplier quality assurance work in the organization and at supplier site.
You are expected to cooperate with many different internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers. Travelling, both national and international, will eventually be expected in this role. We are certified according to ISO 9001 and 14001.
Your main tasks will be to
• Develop and implement a systematic supplier quality assurance process.
• Participate in projects, ie product development and cost saving projects.
• Supplier audits and participate in approval of new suppliers
• Follow up supplier performance and evaluate supplier performance
• Supplier Manual

What should you bring
We are looking for someone with previous experience from supplier quality work, preferably someone who has taken part in building up this function in an organization.
To be successful in this role you should have the capability to work systematically with our quality systems, independently and able to prioritize the daily work given the needs from internal customers.
It is a requirement that you have experience from quality work, Lean and preferably a technical background.
With many stakeholders in this role we believe you need to possess strong communication skills and be able to interact in a plausible way both internally and externally.
Knowledge in measurement technology, technical data and mechanical drawings are highly preferred.
We are about to implement SAP, previous experience of working with SAP is of course an advantage.
