On behalf of our customer FLIR Systems we are looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance manager (SQA) for a key position at the company 's office in Täby, north of Stockholm. Do you have an eye for quality? Are you an experienced quality engineer within supply chain management? Then this could the position you are looking for.
The role
As Supplier Quality Manager you will be a part of the Commodity Management team but without any commercial supplier responsibility. You will be responsible for process fulfillment within sourcing and global alignment in close cooperation with production and Quality functions.
Main tasks:
Perform quality audit in new supplier selection processIn project phase, identify "risk material" from quality perspectiveAlign project requirement with all stakeholdersSet the quality supplier requirement including defining continuous quality requirementsFollow-up on supplier quality fulfillmentIdentified "risk material" - conduct proactive quality assurance with suppliers (mitigations)Create virtual quality teams with suppliers - by that enlarge resources working with quality for FLIR material.Engage quality assurance resources from strategic suppliers Task/performance lead for quality deviations
E xperience and competence
The position requires some years of experience from a similar post. You have a university degree in mechanical engineering, or a comparable competence based on experience. You are familiar with quality assurance and knowledge in quality tools and processes.
Fluency in Swedish and English, written and verbal, is a requirement.
You are a structured person with an analytical mindset. You have great problem-solving capacity and are aware of goals and standards of quality.
