About the job
In this position, you work in an international environment where you're a part of the global quality and claims department. By also having a close connection to our purchasing department, you continuously work to create and develop the quality of our products. You visit the supplier, check the supply chain and perform audits. You're process-oriented and focus on preventing quality issues in the production, ensuring that all suppliers follow the frameworks.
Your mission also includes:
Supporting purchasing teams and production to onboard new suppliers.
Working proactively with supplier quality and supplier improvement processes.
Working with the Supply Chain & Purchasing department on cost-saving activities.
Supporting our quality and product line organization regarding supplier-related disruptions.

The location for this position is global flexible, based close to one of our Seco Tool sites in the world. Frequent travel, both domestically and abroad, is included in the job.
Your profile
We're looking for someone who holds a university degree in mechanical engineering or has gained equivalent knowledge through work experience. You're technically skilled and have good knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001. Work experience or training in quality assurance, Six Sigma, Lean, PDCA, 5S, or similar quality tools are required for this role. As we're a global industry, you have fluent skills in both written and verbal English, and knowledge in other languages is a plus.
This position also calls for excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong drive to achieve your goals. You're committed and have the ability to work with both internal and external partners. You plan and prioritize your work tasks independently and with your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you'll succeed in this role.
