This position reports to: Quality Control Manager.
Your role and Responsibilities
If you're driven by problem-solving, collaboration, and improving how things work, this role puts you right at the heart of our production flow. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you'll take ownership of supplier-related deviations, lead improvement initiatives, and ensure that the materials entering our factories meet the highest standards. This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise and communication skills truly make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
Manage supplier claims - Receive, document, and process quality issues in our SAP system, ensuring accurate and timely handling.
Lead root-cause investigations - Request and follow up on 8D reports, ensuring corrective actions are well-defined and completed.
Coordinate material controls - Initiate warehouse inspections and decide on incoming inspection needs for future deliveries.
Drive improvement activities - Lead initiatives related to purchased materials and internal processes.
Perform supplier audits - Conduct process audits both within Sweden and internationally.
Qualifications for the role
Strong technical understanding - Through experience or a relevant university degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering).
Experience in manufacturing - Familiarity with production environments and industrial processes is beneficial.
Analytical mindset - Ability to question unclear information and identify gaps.
Excellent communication skills - Comfortable collaborating across all organizational levels, as well as with suppliers and customers.
Fluent in Swedish and English - Confident in both spoken and written communication.
On-site presence - This role is 100% on-site and requires a structured, proactive team player with a results-oriented mindset.
Root-cause methodology experience - Knowledge of 8D, DMAIC, or similar methods is a strong advantage.
