hela Sverige Scania Purchasing organisation is responsible for purchasing of products and services as well as quality to all Scania units worldwide. The global purchasing responsibility is centralised in Södertälje and the overall quality responsibility is within the department Supplier Quality, SQ.
One of our current employees who handle escalated quality deviations in the POL-team will continue with new challenges within SQ and now we are looking for the successor.
Your work assignments
Purchasing On Line (POL) is responsible for solving escalated deviations from our suppliers when causing severe problems at Scania's units or the end customers. POL secure in real time a short-term solution and is also responsible for, that the long-term solution will be implemented in order to restore the normal situation. We work on behalf of Scania's production units and are a global organization with three POL organizations (one in Europe, one in South America and one in India). You will be located within the Cab & Electronics organisation but the cases can be more widely spread.
Your profile
You have a technical education, preferably on a university-/college level. Experience of systematic quality work and Scania Production System is also a merit. As the product range is wide, we value experience and expertise in manufacturing of electronics and assembly but also in plastic, casting, forging, machining, steel etc.
You are a good problem solver, analytical, full of initiative, proactive, independent and used to deliver quick results with high quality. You will get a large cross-functional contact network within Scania but also with many international contacts so we assume that you like travelling and that you speak and write fluent English. You must be ready at short notice to carry out supplier visits around the World but most commonly in Europe.
