Our team, Supply Chain Quality, a part of Tetra Pak Processing Systems, is dedicated to Tetra Pak becoming the indisputable industry leader in quality, by leading systematic activities with suppliers, and driving a quality mindset through the supply chain of Tetra Pak.
You will be part of a team focusing on proactively improving supplier performance. Your task will be to secure and improve the performance of our suppliers by leading assessments, drive supplier improvement activities by implementing proactive methodologies and leading/supporting complex quality issues.
Location options for this position are available and the position includes travelling, approximately 30%.
Main responsibilities
• Perform assessments of Capital Equipment suppliers according to the Supplier Validation Process.
• Coordinate and act upon assessment findings.
• Deploy and analyze supplier quality losses and assessment performance data and visualize Supplier Performance.
• Drive supplier development according to World Class Manufacturing principles through coaching, mentoring and follow up improvement activities.
Qualifications
To be successful in the position you have excellent communications skills and the ability to influence and inspire others. To work with individuals and teams on different organizational levels is highly motivating for you. When implementing quality processes or support quality issues, you have the ability to develop and coach our suppliers in a positive direction. In your daily work you have a strong drive for results, combined with a quality mindset. You have ability to engage people and push for changes.
You have a university degree in Engineering or have acquired a similar competence through several years of work experience within supplier quality management, supplier development and project management. Preferably you have a background within an international manufacturing business and you have previous experience from working with World Class Manufacturing, Lean or other continuous improvement systems. Being a certified Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is an advantage. Excellence in spoken and written English and MS Office is a must.
