We are now looking for a supplier developer with expertise in electronics production that can add excellence to our suppliers. Since we currently have suppliers in Europe and Asia, the work will involve some travelling, up to 50-60 days per year. The work involves close collaboration with procurement, production, R&D and of course our suppliers.
As a supplier developer you will belong to the quality function and report directly to the quality manager in Scandinavia. Location will be at one of our offices, Herlev, Ski, Eskilstuna, Mölnlycke or Stockholm.
What you will be doing
You will be central to ASSA ABLOY Scandinavia's further development in the quality and development function. In the material category, you will develop and implement our supplier quality strategy, as well as lead the supplier and product qualification process.
By working in close contact with our suppliers, you ensure that they have understood and are able to fulfill our requirements with regard to processes and specific product requirements. You are responsible for implementing APQP processes in the supplier base. The role of supplier developer also means that you manage non-conformities (NCR) between suppliers and ASSA ABLOY Scandinavia.
You will be a natural team member in our New Product Introduction (NPI) projects where you contribute with your experience and knowledge of the processes and the suppliers. Your work also includes identifying risks that can affect projects or ongoing deliveries and also recommend actions and follow up those.
What we are looking for
We put great emphasis on personal qualifications and we are searching for you who have the ability to find solutions to complex problems. You are result-oriented, structured and an ability to independently drive your work and make the right priorities. You are clear in your communication and a team player.
In order to succeed in the role, it requires that you have long experience of electronics production, production equipment and experience of working in projects. It is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
You also need experience and competence within:
Systematic quality work At least 5 years work experience of supplier quality and quality development. Six sigma for example through Black belt or Green belt certification. Specifically desirable is knowledge of 8D or DMAIC methodology. ISO9001: 2015 and especially as auditor APQP and PPAP and introduction of these processes
