You will design the future of Procurement. Procurement is one of the key levers in increasing Vattenfall's Operational Excellence by harvesting synergies of scale and skill across the Group in the coming years. Procurement supports the business with procuring all goods and services at best possible commercial terms and conditions by being involved from when the need for external supply occurs and beyond the end of a supplier relation. Vattenfall is one of the largest buyers in the utilities sector with around 6 billion Euro spend annually.
Supplier Management, part of Vattenfall's Group Procurement Function is looking for a Supplier Account Manager (SAM). This is a recently created function in our organization and we are now four persons working as "SAM." The function will call for pioneering and innovative work and excellent skills together with previous experience from similar positions, or as Key Account Manager for one of the main player in the global energy industry. This role works hand in hand with several other functions such as business partners in Vattenfall Group, and all other procurement functions. Job descriptionAs one of Vattenfall's SAMs you are a key team player in our team and you will report to Head of Supply Management. Your role will be double; SAM for one of Vattenfall Global Suppliers, and SAM for suppliers covering about 80% of spend in one of Vattenfall's Business Units (BU), in this case BU Distribution. This role requires that you work with at lot of interfaces, both internally and externally. Therefore it is important that your communication skills (verbal and written) are excellent. You have experience of working with either customers and/or suppliers at different levels. You have verified records from working with establishing supplier or customer strategies on a global level. You also have analytical skills to quickly identify the important facts from materials such as annual reports, strategies and business plans.
As SAM you will manage: - The relationship and interface with your designated Global Supplier and those suppliers that represent the 80% spend in BU Distribution- The relationships with other SAMs and business partners in Germany, the Nordic countries and the Netherlands- The relationships with both internal and external auditors- All business intelligence reporting regarding your suppliers - The outline of your supplier strategies together with the relevant business partners- Commercial discussions regarding terms and conditions- The discount on account scheme negotiation and follow up.
You will work together with Vattenfall's Business Units and all of procurement's functions such as Sourcing, Investment, Operations and Excellence.
And you will develop: - A Supplier Relationship Management Model for your area of responsibilities - Matrixes to rate suppliers.
As SAM you will: - Participate in supplier strategy meetings - Support Sourcing, Investment and Operations in negotiations by bringing the overall account aspects- Support the Supplier Qualification Manager. QualificationsThis position requires that you have extensive experience from working with Supplier Management or Key Account Management in a structured way. You also have: - A higher education, such as a university graduate in business administration or business IT, industrial engineering, logistics - or similar experience gained through your professional life - Good analytical skills- Experience of international working environment- In addition to your mother tongue, you should have a very good knowledge of English, and German is a plus.
You will be based in Stockholm. This is a full-time job that requires international travel.
