Description
Do you want to take responsibility for developing the next generation electrical architecture to support NEVS vision of sustainable mobility?
As supervisor for Electrical Architecture Design, you will lead a team of highly skilled engineers within the Electrical Architecture department at NEVS Technical Development organization. Your team has responsibility for the high level design of the electrical architecture to support functional and non-functional requirements. Your team is responsible for the functional architecture including the definition of signal interfaces, both serial data and HW I/Os. It will be your responsibility to set the strategy for the team as well as leading the daily work.
You and the team will work with a wide network within NEVS to ensure understanding and compliance to the architecture and signaling as well as taking part in the more detailed design at lower abstraction levels.
You will be reporting to the Manager of Electrical Architecture and work closely together with the supervisor for Electrical Base Tech and Integration.
The role as Supervisor Electrical Base Tech and Integration involves:
- Lead, coordinate and inspire the Electrical Architecture Design team in their daily work
- Responsible for the long term plans for your employees and team
- Define, maintain and continuously improve engineering and product development processes, guidelines and methodologies in the area of Electrical Architecture Design
- Provide a safe and structured environment for the team. Communicate company/project level updates and changes
- Responsible for resource planning and prioritization, developing strategies to ramp up or down based on resource requirements in project
We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience from electronics and software development in the automotive industry
- Experience from developing and integration of electrical system on vehicle level
- Experience from software architecture is an advantage
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Driver license B

- Has both technical and leadership skills and experience
- Is a team player with ability to plan and prioritize
- Has a good communication skill
- Is flexible in the interaction with different persons, groups and culture.
