The energy company St1 is hiring summer interns in Stockholm
The trainees will work on different topics related to the energy transition, such as power-to-x, carbon sequestration, wind power, sustainability, and e-mobility and biorefining.
The internship positions will be in Helsinki, Stockholm, and Oslo. Collaboration between locations and across topics will be facilitated and encouraged, and the team of interns will gather in one of the St1 offices for onboarding and debriefing over the summer.
Your tasks will be related to your background and interests, and we encourage people from different backgrounds to apply. Your daily work can include for example creating market analysis, data processing, portfolio development or working with due diligence and sustainability themes.

Tasks may include
* Develop a market analysis for wind, power-to-x, or carbon sequestration
* Work with sustainability due diligence or materiality assessment processes
* Convert a modelling tool to a convenient coding language
* Work with the St1 investment management process
* Analysis of life-cycle assessment results
* Work with electric charging infrastructure
Qualifications
We are looking for applicants with passion for the energy transition and climate change mitigation, as well as expertise in one or more of the following areas:
* Energy systems and renewable energy solutions
* Sustainability
* Data analysis
* Coding
* Market analysis
* Chemical engineering
* Energy and climate policy and regulation
Language requirements
Excellent written and oral English is mandatory, and roficiency in a Nordic language (Norwegian, Swedish, or Finnish) is beneficial. The operating language of St1 is English.
Personal characteristics
* You work independently and take responsibility for your own deliveries
* You are analytical and able to familiarize yourself with complex issues
* You are structured
* You have good collaboration skills
Start and end date
1. June - 31. August. These dates can be negotiated to fit with your schedule.
