About the position
We are now looking to appoint a summer worker for the Technical Content Management (TCM) function in the Engineering Management Group.
The Technical Content Management function is responsible for supporting the organisation in how to manage technical information for the entire ESS project mainly focusing our document management system CHESS and to validate the information that CHESS is responsible for in EAM.
As a Technical Documentation & Information Management Intern your main tasks will include:
• Support to make the process of getting data from ePlan structured and ready for import into CHESS.
• Structure part library and part manuals in CHESS and to align naming of documentation.
• Relocate and structure existing documentation from Installation Binders in Confluence (Atlassian) to CHESS, ensuring correct classification and accessibility.
• Collaborate with TCM team members to understand information needs and ensure that the content is user-friendly and fit for purpose.
About you
A suitable background for this position would be:
• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g. Engineering or similar).
• Familiarity with Confluence Atlassian is a plus (but not required).
• Basic knowledge of content management systems and document structures.
• Basic knowledge about technical documentation and ability to understand drawings.
• Very good knowledge in Excel and preferably good knowledge in scripting language (preferably python).
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Minimum age 18 years.

Duration and location
This is a summer work position for 7-8 weeks. Planned start date is 8 June 2026 or per agreement.
Your workplace is on-site at ESS in Lund, Sweden.
