Job description and responsibilities:
The External Relations & EU Projects Group at the European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund invites students or recent graduates to apply for a student position to support the day-to-day work of the team during the summer months.
We are seeking a summer student assistant with first relevant professional experience to join our team for a limited period of two months. The role will involve the following activities:
The student will be part of the External Relations & EU Projects Group within the Communications and External Relations Division. The Group is in charge of coordinating corporate level activities and relationships with ESS Stakeholders.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
• Support with visits coordination and implementation of visits procedure, recording and maintenance of visits statistics
• Administrative and logistics support for visits, events and meetings
• Support of travel and reimbursement management
• Organization, archiving and follow up of outreach activities
• Support of grant administration activities
• Contact database maintenance and management
The student will be involved in all these activities as well as support the day-to-day work of the Group.
Required qualifications:
The applicant should be enrolled in a programme related to Political Science, International Relations, Communications or a similar. Knowledge of MS Office is necessary. Experience of working in an office environment is an advantage. Basic understanding of web editor tools or CRM platforms is beneficial. She/He should possess excellent English language skills and knowledge of other European languages would be an advantage.
