Kollmorgen is a global company which develops motion control and Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems and works with customers in many different industries all over the world. Our target is to provide world leading technology for the rapidly growing market of AGVs and Mobile Robots.
We are offering summer job for 6-8 weeks that will start first or second week in June. You will work together with one of our development teams. For us it is important that your task is relevant for your education, that you will learn new things, develop yourself and of course we want you to have fun.
Brief description about the Services team
We are working with supporting our partners in our solutions through onsite assistance, support desk and training. We are constantly releasing new online training with higher quality and new templates, but we have little time to upgrade our old material where the quality is lagging behind. This is where we need your help with quality improvements of our online training material!
Task 1
Take the online parts of our Basic Training as an introduction to our software and solution and identify parts that are either hard to comprehend or that requires upgrades such as change of layout according to new standards, sound quality, comprehensibility etc. Here you will have a lot of space in suggesting improvements to our training material!
Task 2
We have all of our online training stored in a repository in case upgrades to the material is needed. The task would be to, based on your observations from the first task, implement these upgrades by for example creating a new layout and edit in the previous voice recording, creating new scripts, or creating new voice recordings to raise visual or audible quality.
What educations are applicable?
• We are looking for bachelor students who are in their second year (BSc) & master students (MSc) who studies year 3 or 4.
• You are studying engineering within e.g. Computer Science, Mechatronics, IT, Learning and Leadership or similar.
In addition, you are fluent in English both spoken and written.
Meritorious skills:
• Having an interest in teaching or in content creation is a plus.

Our office is located near Sisjön, during our lunches you will have the opportunity to go for a run or a swim in the summer. We have flexible working hours, and we also have a gym that is free to use for all employees and on Mondays and Thursdays we have a common gym-workout.
Every student who has been up late to study for an exam know how important coffee is , we offer you good fair-trade coffee with fresh milk! If you don 't like coffee, we have tea and always fresh fruit if you get hungry.
