The summer job at Vattenfall is an opportunity for you as a student to gain experience and insights into what it is like to work at a large Swedish energy company. You will meet numerus people with different experiences who can contribute to your development and network. You who either have a summer break from studies, will begin a new education in the autumn, or will complete an education during the spring semester can apply for a summer job with us. Working within Group Treasury is an opportunity to have a good understanding of this business area and different financial solutions Group Treasury works with. In addition, you will work with an expert team where your knowledge will be developed and taken you to another level using several systems, banks and settlement tools to ensure that operations are managed properly
Tasks in the position
Daily account reconciliations and cash pools following.
Initiating and executing payments.
Processing internal and external financial transactions as well as the responsibility of monitoring that all trades are matched, settled and paid on time.
Continuous dialog with internal and external counterparts.
Participation in the preparation of liquidity forecasts.
Monthly closing process as well as the responsibility of preparing and submitting the periodically reports.
Qualifications
University studies in the area of economics/ business.
An interest in the business area and different financial solutions.
You are driven, ambitious and result-oriented with the ability to work both in teams and independently
You are fluent in spoken and written English, meritorious if you are fluent in Swedish.

The summer job is located in Solna and the summer job period is from 15 June 2023 to 25 August 2023. However, we would like the applicant to start part time already in April to be introduced to processes, systems. After August 25, there may be an opportunity to work part-time.
